| We were not intended to open our house as a guest house / B&B, but a trouble in our life led us to find a way to meet people, welcome them as friends, tell them about our region of France, Lot et Garonne, and about Gironde, Dordogne, Landes, the departments around. The French official B&B organization, "Gites de France", tought us the right way to do it : how to welcome our guests, how to make them feel comfortable in their rooms (regularly controlled by the French B&B organization), all rooms fully equipped with a bathroom delivering as much hot water as our guests may need !... all things to which you can add many little attentions thought for your comfort : a bottle of mineral water, a cattle, cups, a selection of tea bags, coffee, infusions, mosquitoes' spray and electrical diffuser, shoe shiner and books are at your disposal. Pets are welcome. Something else ? Once you have made your reservation by phone or email, we send you by regular mail a location map |

Our names are Pierrette and Gilbert, we certainly don't have 50 years of experience in B&B but still, 20 years are quite a while... and one of our greatest happiness was when customers had us referenced in the French well-known guide "le Petit Fute" (to be added to our other references !). Our B&B is classified in the French town of MARMANDE (47200) : Our B&B is rated 2 "stars" by the "Gites de France" (in fact "corn ears" for B&B, not stars) when we should be rated 3, the 3 bedrooms on the ground floor having separe toilets in common (of course entirely reserved to B&B) we can not be rated more despite our bedrooms' high level of comfort. |  |
